Have engine, stuck and apart in pieces, for 65-67 Chrysler, 67 Dodge Charger, 65-67 Dodge Passenger, 67 Dodge Truck and 65-67 Plymouth. Casting number is 2468130-7 in Hollander it does not use the -7, just the 2468130

Also it came with a set of heads casting number 2951250 which Hollander says are for a 1968 Chrysler 440 engine. Price very cheap, if anyone can use this or parts of it. It all came out of a 1965 Chrysler car.

The pictured pistons are Silv - O - Lite 1271 +.030" from 1967 Dodge Charger 383-4v. They were used for 30 years and 40,000 miles. Only reason I replaced them is they fell off the pallet racking and cracked the skirts on 2 of them. Was just as cheap to buy a whole new set than just the 2; so if someone else has the same mishap; here is a solution! They are very cheap if you can use them; I will never (I hope!) never have a use for them.

Aftermarket flat top pistons from 1967 Dodge 383 - 4V engine. Engine was rebuilt and these were installed about 40 years & 35,000 miles ago. Because of broken manifold; decided to pull engine and re - rebuild it. Unfortunately the engine and the parts got tipped off the pallet rack; and 2 pistons got under the block or some other part and broke the skirts. SO I just bought a full set of new pistons ($175.00 VS $110.00 for just 2); so - if anyone else has same problem and needs a piston or 2; these are available! I figure worth maybe $10.00 each plus freight.

Well, we all know as we age, we make mistakes and do stupid things. I had two (2) AMC 401 engines to rebuild; one in the 74 Matador Coupe because I was foolish enough to use Mahle crank Main bearings with no locating tangs. Got about 300 miles and it spun 3 out of 5 main bearings and destroyed the engine. Went from a standard bore / standard crank 45,000 mile engine with all original, standard AMC bearings, pistons, etc. to 30 over on mains & pistons, and 20 on rods. Mahle said send the bearings in and they would determine cause - they will not respond after I sent them. The other engine is in the 76  Jeep Honcho. So I bought duplicate parts all at the same time for both engines. This is new in box camshaft; never used. My cost was $185.00; will consider reasonable offer.

 Continuation of story to the left: Most every parts store cam factory etc. will tell you all AMC V8 cam's are the same. They are NOT. Check your AMC manual, the 401 has .020" more lift and more duration. I visited with Melling; and they said the 401 cam is listed as a competition cam. So, I had to buy 2  new cams, one for each engine. Also have the set of lifters that were on this cam; all identified as to proper position and the cam / lifters were only in the engine for under 300 miles. In any event; if you need a good useable cam / lifter kit for your AMC V8 engine that is NOT a 401, lifters and camshaft $100.00 plus shipping.

Burd Piston Rings by Size

Piston RIngs by Size. Have Thousands of piston rings, not in sets but individual. Let me know if it's compression or oil ring, bore diameter and if it's oversize .020 .030 etc; and the width of the ring land to see if I have that size. Have rings from 2" bore up to around 5" bore for tractors etc.

Have LOTS of valve springs; most have no part number or identification. This particular spring is .833" x 1.153" x 2.000" tall. Let me know what size valve spring you have - ID, OD, OAL, and required pressure - I have a valve spring tester machine - and maybe I will have the valve spring you need.

Continental Engine Front Oil Pan - Timing Cover filler

Aluminum filler block that bolts to the engine block and timing cover, with the oil pan front gasket on it. Used on most Continental F162 F163 F245 etc engines. This item is used; you may want to Heli Coil the 4 threaded holes that attach to the timing cover. Otherwise could be used as is; but I prefer to heli Coil as the part is aluminum. $5.00 plus shipping.
