I have been a fan of antique vehicles since I was a kid. My Father was a mechanic, so I spent a lot of my time in the garage learning everything I could about fixing cars. All I do any more is work on antique cars and our Pioneer Village Museum!
The above car is a 1925 Star Touring car. They were made from 1924 to 1928. Star was a subsidiary of Durant Motor Co. and were aimed at price competing with Ford's Model T. We got this one from Nampa, Idaho in 2013
I enjoy most any old, neat, interesting or "special" car; but mostly I like the stuff no one else wants - such as Studebaker's, Packard's, AMC's, Jeeps, Kaiser / Frazer, Mercury Turnpike Cruiser, etc.
This one is a very rare AMC Matador Coupe with the Oleg Casini trim package. You Ladies out there may know of Oleg Casini; he was a famous designer of women's apparel along with other designer items. It sports a 401-4v engine with factory Dual Exhaust, AT, PS, CC, PDB, Tilt wheel, Inside remote LH exterior mirror, inside day/night mirror, AC, AM/FM/8 Track tape player, windshield washers, and rear window defroster along with split bench reclining front seat. It is currently a 2 owner car with approximately 60,000 miles.
We got this one from Watertown, SD in 2015.
Our cars do not sit in the garage or ride on trailers! We drive our cars every day and to shows all over the country.
Our Magic City Antique Car Club and Pioneer Village Museum host a great No Cost car show, Flea Market and swap meet on the 1st weekend of August every year.
Be sure to check out all our Antique, Classic, and Collector Cars for sale as well as Antique & Classic car parts NOS, NORS and used.
This is a 1956 Studebaker Golden Hawk. It is the only year or model of Studebaker to get the large Packard 352-4v engine from the factory. The only faster production car in the US in 1956 was the DeSoto Firedome with the cross ram dual 4v engine. This car has been restored to original specs. We found it on a private auction in Sioux Falls SD in 2014. It has auto transmission, am radio, heater, electric wipers and power steering.
1955 Packard Clipper Custom Constellation. Complete body off frame restoration. It's a great driver and looks wonderful. 352-4v single exhaust PS PB AC Power seat power antenna auxiliary underseat heater and wonderbar signal seeking AM radio. Also Packard exclusive Torsion Level Ride suspension.
